Corporate social responsibility

We support a charity of the year and raise money throughout the year through a range of activities, to build awareness and raise funds for worthy causes.

In the past we have raised money for Children in Need, Red Nose Day, Jeans for Genes and Macmillan.

  • Office recycling, including the maximum amount of waste such as toner cartridges

Do you recruit graduates with no prior accountancy experience?

Yes, we do. We offer a balanced mix of hands-on experience and training along with support with professional exams and tuition. You’ll also enjoy a high level of responsibility as we strive to help you reach your full potential.

I can’t see a role advertised – is it worth sending my CV?

Yes absolutely. We are always happy to hear from talented, like-minded people who share our values.

Do you keep CVs on file and if so for how long?

Yes – we keep your details on file for 6 months unless you request otherwise.

What qualifications do I need to become a trainee accountant?

Normally, we ask for two A Levels, an AAT Level 3 or a degree.

Is there more to accountancy than number-crunching and spreadsheets?

Most definitely! It’s not essential that you are a brilliant mathematician. There are many personal attributes that are more important than maths.

What personal attributes do you look for in your recruits?

Good interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and good analytical skills, not just numeric analytical skills. You should also have good English language skills, both written and verbal.

What training do you provide?

Our trainee recruitment is conducted by Colin Ford.
