Daniel is a Partner within the Macalvins Group, in particular within Cox Costello & Horne. He is part of the wider audit team, while supporting wider business growth and client development. A qualified FCA with a background in law (LLB), he brings both technical expertise and commercial insight to his role.
With experience as an audit and accounts manager, Daniel has a strong track record of supervising teams and developing talent. He now plays a key role in training the next generation of accountants, while also working closely with the tax and business development teams to deliver a joined-up service to clients.
Daniel works with businesses at every stage of their journey, offering practical advice that helps them grow, adapt and plan for the future. He is particularly focused on building long-term relationships, understanding each client’s goals and helping them navigate challenges with confidence.
Alongside his client work, Daniel is passionate about the continued growth of the firm. He is actively involved in networking and bringing new clients into the business, while ensuring a strong, positive culture is maintained internally.
Known for his approachable nature and problem-solving mindset, Daniel combines patience, strong communication skills and a genuine interest in people to get the best outcomes for both clients and colleagues.
Outside of work, Daniel is a keen music enthusiast with a large vinyl collection and a love of live gigs. He is also a dedicated Chelsea FC supporter and enjoys travelling, cinema and family days out.
